Triump Tiger XCA TRIUMPH  has dropped the Explorer moniker from its 1200 Tiger range, in a deliberate reference to the 80 years of Tiger off-road heritage.   From 2018, the 1200 will align with the British manufacturer’s smaller adventure bike – the no-nonsense  Tiger 800  – which never succumbed to the ‘Explorer’ add-on. It’s almost ironic, because if any Tiger will make you want to explore, it’s this latest guise, especially the excellent range-topping, road-going XRt. The new XCa isn’t bad, either, but I’m still not convinced that when the going gets tough, it wouldn’t prove to be more friendly feline than aggressive beast. Mahindra’s plans to re-launch the Jawa brand of bikes in India Yezdi Bikes  » Mahindra is likely to launch the new Jawa motorcycles under the Yezdi moniker to capitalize on the iconic status of the brand. The new motorcycles are likely to enter production at the manufacturer’s Pithampur plant in early 2018. One of the first Yezdi models to launch in India will be the new Yezdi 350 cc model. It will be based on the 2017 Jawa 350 that was revealed earlier this year. The new 2017 Jawa 350 was revealed some months ago. Much like its predecessor, the new motorcycle has a 350 cc heart and a its design pays homage to original. A big difference, however, is that the engine is no more a 2-stroke unit. The company has used a 4-stroke motor in order to meet the much stricter emission norms of today’s day and age.
